GULF COAST

Dates: 2026 Dates TBD
Location: Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

This intimate Summit Workshop, limited to just 6–7 participants, centers on whooping cranes—North America’s tallest bird and the rarest of all cranes—as well as the diverse winter birdlife that thrives between the salt marshes and the sea. Each morning, we’ll venture into the refuge by private boat with a local guide who likely sees more whooping cranes each day than anyone else on Earth. In the afternoons, we’ll explore the refuge by land on short trails, scenic overlooks, and a loop road that offers a different perspective of this vital coastal habitat.
